KANG DANIEL's solo debut album "Color on Me" topped the daily album chart of record-collecting website Hanteau Chart as of 7 a.m. today, a day after its offline album was released on Monday. It has sold a total of 342,218 copies in just one day after its release, breaking the previous record with all-time top-selling single singers in terms of sales figures on the first day.
The album was already talked about with a surprising figure of 450,000 pre-orders alone before its release and proved its potential by surpassing 340,000 copies sold in a day. Not only the title track but also the entire album topped various music charts right after its release, and just by tallying a day's worth of songs on the day of release, the album is ranked second in the previous record for male and female solo singers' first time (selling records for a week after release) and realizes KANG DANIEL's strength.
With the album topping the real-time record charts since its release, much attention is being paid to how the final score will be recorded after the initial tally closes on "KANG DANIEL's Record," which is renewed daily and never ends.
Meanwhile, KANG DANIEL will hold fan signing events sequentially in Gwangju, Daejeon, Busan, and Daegu from March 31 to express its gratitude to fans for waiting for the long break, and will have time to get closer to and communicate with fans of all walks of life.
