EXO's Baekhyun (a member of SM Entertainment) proved his strength as a solo artist with his first solo album "City Lights."
Baekhyun's first mini-album "City Lights," released on Thursday, was released on iTunes, as well as in the United States, Canada, France, Germany, Argentina, Brazil, India, the United Arab Emirates, Australia, Austria, Brunei, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Chile, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Estonia, Bahrain, Finland, Greece, Honduras, Hong Kong, Jordan, Indonesia, and Laos. It ranked No. 1 on 66 top album charts worldwide, including Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, and Vietnam.
In addition, the album, which proved its high appeal even before its release by surpassing 400,000 preorders, topped the album sales charts at China's largest music sites QQ Music and Kugou Music as well as the album sales charts at the nation's largest music sites such as Hantor Chart, Sinnara Records, Kyobo Book Center, and Hot Trace, and also received the title track "UN Village" and "Buyves" as well as the second-best.
