
Girl group WJSN has topped the Hanteo Chart weekly record chart.
WJSN's special album "For the Summer" released on June 4 proved to be highly popular, topping the weekly record chart (2019.6.3-2019.6.9) on the Hanteo Chart, the nation's largest music chart.
According to Hanteo chart, the space girl recorded stellar growth with sales of more than 44,000 copies in the beginning, setting their own record.
Earlier, the WJSN heated up the comeback mood by topping the daily charts on the Hanteo Chart upon the release of their album.
In addition, the WJSN showed outstanding performances on iTunes charts around the world, signaling her growth as a global girl group. The album topped the iTunes K-pop album chart in Italy and four other regions, and topped iTunes charts in 14 regions worldwide, including the U.S. and Canada, to gauge their unique response overseas.
The title track "Boogie Up" is a pop dance song that adds retro sound to the electro punk genre, which features the cleanliness of a WJSN. Based on their signature light energy and soft flow, its addictive melody and refreshing performance exudes the atmosphere of summer.
The WJSN is continuing their active album career with their new song 'Boogie Up.'
