
Group BTS marked the colorful finale of its European stadium tour in Paris, France.
BTS held a tour of "LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF" at Stade de France on June 7 and 8 (local time) and performed with 110,000 viewers.
In particular, Halsey participated in the featured song "Boy With Luv" for her new album at the concert on Thursday, drew enthusiastic response from the audience.
With the move, BTS has sold out four performances in two cities at Wembley Stadium in England and Stade de France, enjoying the festival with 230,000 spectators.
Earlier, the British Wembley Stadium made a new history as BTS became the main character, a stage that only top artists from around the world can climb. The news was widely reported in the U.K. and other media outlets around the world.
The BBC and NME said of the Wembley performance, "BTS made history by becoming the first Korean singer to enter the Wembley Stadium. We proved to be the world's largest pop group in the Wembley performance."
CNN also said in an article titled "How a boy band from Korea became the best in the world" timed with the performance at Wembley Stadium, "BTS has become the best group in the world, overcoming the limitations of language. As the Beatles did, BTS also succeeded in exploring the U.S. market by crossing over from other continents. This may be a greater achievement than the Beatles.”
There was also a flurry of praise from local media. News agencies AFP, Le Figaro and Le Monde carried details of BTS' performance in France, saying the band has swept the Stade de France and represents the success of Korean music around the world. Also, Vanity Fair France said, "The BTS have conquered the world. If there was a Beatles in the 1960s, there would be BTS in the 2010s,"
BTS hosted their official global fan meeting "BTS 5TH MUSTER [MAGIC SHOP] on June 15 and 16 at Busan Asiad Auxiliary Stadium in Busan and on June 22 and 23 at Seoul Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium.
