Lee Won suk of DAYBREAK has finally completed his four-month journey as king.

On MBC's entertainment show "The King of Mask Singer," which aired on June 2, the stage was unveiled for Gulliver, the king, and four semifinalists challenging him. In the show, Gulliver received positive reviews for his coolly singing " whale hunting" by Song Chang sik, a cripple, despite his enteritis. Gulliver, the main character of the five-game winning streak, was Lee Won suk, the vocalist of Daybreak.

After the broadcast, Lee Won suk expressed his unusual wish through his agency. "The last four months of 'The King of Mask Singer' were precious times that made me feel so much. My first challenge as Gulliver, following the Mobius band, was very shaky, but fortunately I became king, and I've had so many happy times since then."

Lee Won suk appeared as "Girliver" in March, chose "heart for one person" to catch viewers' ears. He began his winning streak by performing unconventional arrangements and singing with Lovelyz's "Destiny," becoming the 98th king of the family.

Lee Won suk challenged his first defense with Park Hyo shin's "Home" in the 99th Battle of the King, maintained his position as the king with two consecutive wins, and performed a mournful vocals with Lee Juck's "Laundry" in the 100th Battle of the King, becoming the 100th king and winning the third.

Later in the 101st battle of the king, Lee Won suk selected Lee Seung hwan's "Red Camel" for his fourth consecutive victory, and in the 102nd battle of the king, he swept the stage with his own sensibility through Paul Kim's "Road," making history of the birth of the fifth consecutive male king in three years after Ha Hyun woo.

Daybreak, a four-member band that includes Lee Won suk, has emerged as a mainstream band, being loved for its signature songs "walk that will only flower road" "I Like It" and "I Heard It," and has established himself as a top band in various festivals. He is also loved as a musician by musicians beyond the Indie.
