Group BTS has continued their global popularity by posting names on the Billboard 200 and Hot 100 charts for the sixth consecutive week.
According to the latest chart released by the U.S. Billboard on May 30 (local time), BTS' MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA album, released on April 12, ranked 21st in "Billboard 200" and its title track "Boy With Luv" fe. Halsey" ranked 100th.
With the latest album, BTS has succeeded in simultaneously entering the main album chart and the main single chart for the sixth consecutive week. BTS previously entered "Billboard 200" and "Hot 100" for the sixth consecutive week with LOVE YOURSELF 轉 "Tear" and title track "FAKE LOVE," released last year, setting a record, the longest simultaneous chart for a Korean singer.
MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA ranked second on the World Album, third on the Independent Album, eighth on the Top Album Sales, 10th on the German Album and 26th on the Billboard Canadian Album. In addition, "Boy With Luv" ranked 24th in pop songs and 43rd in Billboard Canadian Hot 100.
BTS became the 128th player of their career in "Social 50" and ranked No. 1 for 98 consecutive weeks, maintaining its record for the longest consecutive week.
LOVE YOURSELF 結 "Answer," released in August last year, is ranked 76th on the Billboard 200, up five notches from last week, and has been backtracking on the chart for three consecutive weeks.
BTS appeared as a performance guest on the semi-final stage of the season of "Britain's Got Talent," which was broadcast live on the British ITV channel on May 30. He continued his tour of "LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF" at Wembley Stadium in London on June 1 and 2.
