The group TXT set a new record among debut rookies this year on the U.S. Billboard's "Social 50" chart.
According to the latest chart released by the U.S. Billboard on May 21, TXT ranked second in "Social 50." This is a six-notch increase from last week's eighth place and proved to be a global trend rookie.
In addition, it ranked first and second in "Social 50" alongside BTS, which has continued their longest-running record for 97 consecutive weeks.
And also TXT was ranked fifth on the "Emerging Artist" chart.
TXT made their first step into the K-pop scene by releasing their debut album "Dream Chapter: STAR" on March 4, sold out all 10,000 tickets for their first overseas showcase "TOMOROW X TOGETHER SHOWSE: STAR in US" in six U.S. cities just two months after debut.
The showcase, which started in New York on May 9, was scheduled to perform in Los Angeles via Chicago, Orlando, Atlanta and Dallas. The "Cat & Dog" music and music video, which were released ahead of the showcase, have drawn attention from the U.S. and other foreign countries.
Following the showcase in Los Angeles on May 24, TXT appeared on June 1 in the famous U.S. music concert "2019 IHeartRadio Wango Tango (2019).
