Emotional vocalist Soyou and singer OVAN topped various music charts with their duet song ‘Rain Drop’
Soyou and OVAN announced their digital single "Rain Drop" on May 16 and once again proved the potential power of top singer by dominating both the top and top spots of various music charts shortly after its release.
The song was ranked first in Soribada, fifth in Melon, second in Bugs, second in Naver Music, fourth in Genie Music, and third in Mnet based on May 17, showing keen interest from music fans.
Upon its release, Soyou and Ovan mesmerized the viewers' attention by showing off an unusual sense of farewell through Mnet's "M Countdown" special corner "STUDIO M" on May 16. Soyou's appealing deep vocals and Ovan's charming voice boasted perfect breathing, and the two completed the sensuous stage with a mournful and deep emotion.
The duet song "Rain Drop" depicts a moment when it rains just as a man and woman facing separation try to leave each other's way, and describes a psychology that cannot hold an umbrella even when they see their opponent walking in the rain.
