
Jennie became the first Korean female solo artist to be the main character of 300 million views with the music video for 300 million views.
The music video for Jennie's first solo song "SOLO," posted on Black Pink's official YouTube, surpassed 300 million views in more than six months. YG Entertainment released a poster specially made through their official blog, sharing pleasant news with fans.
Jennie was the first runner on BLACKPINK's solo project, announced "SOLO" on Nov. 12 last year. The music video in question has surpassed 100 million views in just 23 days since its release, breaking the Korean female solo artist record. Following the momentum, she became the first Korean female solo artist to surpass 200 million views and 300 million views in succession in 90 days and 182 days, respectively.
Earlier on May 11, the music video for Black Pink's "DDU DU DDU DU" surpassed 800 million views, setting the K-pop group's first and all-time highest-view record, and Jennie continues her new record as a female solo.
The Black Pink has won all eight music videos that were released after her debut song "DDU DU DDU DU with 800 million views, "BOOMBAYAH," 500 million views, "Kill This Love," "Playing with Fire," "Whistle," "SOLO" with 300 million views, and "STAY" 100 million views.
Recently, BLACKPINK successfully completed their North American tour of seven performances in six cities. They will continue their world tour in six European countries, including Amsterdam on June 18, Manchester on June 21, London on June 21, Berlin on June 24, Paris on June 26 and Barcelona on June 28.
