NCT 127's first full-length Japanese album "Awaken" was released locally on April 17.
The title track "Wakey-Wakey" is a blend of American-style hip-hop sounds and EDM sounds and is expected to draw keen attention from local fans as the first Japanese tour "NEO CITY: JAPAN - The Origin" features a finale of their first Japanese tour.
The album was also released on various local music sites, including Melon, Flo and Genie, and received a good response.
NCT 127 also appeared on ABC's flagship shows "Good Morning America" and "Strahan and Sara" on April 18 (local time) and will feature their first 12 North American tours in 11 U.S. and Canadian cities, starting with performances at the Prudential Center in New Jersey on April 24.
