[The Fact | [Reporter Choi Subin] Group SEVENTEEN will be appearing in the Korean-Japanese drama project “Hatsukoi DOGs”.
On June 13, management company Pledis Entertainment said, “SEVENTEEN will perform the theme song ‘Where love passed’ for the drama ‘Hatsukoi DOGs’, which will air on TBS Japan.” The song will be aired in the first episode on July 1.
“Where love passed” is a song that combines the gentle sounds of piano and guitar with warm but powerful vocals. The lyrics are filled with nostalgia for a past love, bringing back deep memories for the listener.
Woozi, who wrote and composed the song, shared, “I imagined how this song would fit into the drama when I wrote the lyrics. When you enjoy the music along with the drama, you will definitely feel the deeper meaning hidden in each line.”
“Hatsukoi DOGs” is the first drama co-produced by Japanese broadcaster TBS and Korean company Studio Dragon. The drama revolves around the love story between Aiko, a cold-hearted lawyer who doesn’t believe in love (played by Kiyohara Kaya), and Kai, a strict veterinarian who only loves animals (played by Narita Ryo), who gradually fall in love with each other through their pet dogs. The first episode will air on July 1.
SEVENTEEN is currently receiving a lot of love in Japan thanks to their 5th studio album “HAPPY BURSTDAY” released on the 26th of last month. As of May, the album has surpassed 500,000 copies in sales and has been certified Double Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of Japan. The album also topped major charts such as Oricon “Weekly Album Chart”, “Weekly General Album Chart”, Billboard Japan “Hot Albums”, and “Top Album Sales”.
