On June 4, management company JYP Entertainment posted the MV teaser and concept photos for the title song 'Girls Will Be Girls' by ITZY (including Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, Yuna) on official social media platforms.
The MV teaser made a strong impression thanks to the top-notch image quality combined with Lia's narration: "Someone said, 'Be yourself,' and so we did just that."
Starting with the image of Lia running to a mysterious place in an emergency situation, followed by Yuna with a scar on the corner of her eye, Ryujin with a determined look, Yeji with a dramatic car action scene, and Chaeryeong with a bow in a tense moment - all suggest an exciting adventure journey, where each girl fights against danger in her own way.
The series of concept photos reminds viewers of female protagonists in thrilling movies, raising expectations for the full version of the MV.
ITZY will release their new mini album 'Girls Will Be Girls' with the title track of the same name at 6 p.m. on June 9 (KST). This song is a dance track with a vibrant melody, large-scale harmony, and rich emotions - fully expressing the identity and strengths of ITZY, the group known as the "performance queen of K-pop".
Also on the release day, ITZY will hold a countdown livestream at 5pm (Korean time) to interact with fans and welcome their comeback. After that, all the songs in the album will be released on music platforms at 6pm (Korean time).
