[The Fact | Reporter Jung Byung-geun] Girl group ITZY is gearing up for a comeback with a title track with a powerful rhythm, signaling the return of the K-pop “performance queens”.
On June 2, management company JYP Entertainment posted a spoiler video on their official social media channels, revealing highlights of all tracks in ITZY’s new album – ‘Girls Will Be Girls’. The album includes the songs: ‘Girls Will Be Girls’, ‘Kiss & Tell’, ‘Locked N Loaded’, ‘Promise’ and ‘Walk’.
In particular, the title track ‘Girls Will Be Girls’, although only revealed for a short time, has impressed with its catchy melody and energetic rhythm, making the audience eagerly look forward to the brilliant comeback stage of “performance queen” ITZY.
In addition, ‘Kiss & Tell’ with its dreamy and seductive sound, conveys a confident spirit through the lyrics “It’s still a different vision anyway, just look forward and go”; ‘Locked N Loaded’ impresses with its intense whisper. The song ‘Promise’ brings an emotional atmosphere thanks to its gentle melody and the lyrics “Everything about you is brilliant”. Meanwhile, ‘Walk’ explodes with rhythmic energy.
ITZY will officially release the mini album ‘Girls Will Be Girls’ at 6pm on June 9. The group will also hold a countdown live at 5pm on the same day to interact with fans.
