New Album ‘bomb’ Released on June 16

[The Fact | Reporter Jeong Byeong-geun] Girl group ILLIT has another song that has surpassed 100 million streams on the world’s largest digital music platform Spotify.
According to Spotify on May 29, the title track ‘Cherish (My Love)’ from ILLIT’s second mini album ‘I’LL LIKE YOU’ released in October last year has recorded a total of 100,231,391 streams as of the 27th. This is the group’s third song to surpass 100 million streams, following ‘Magnetic’ and Lucky Girl Syndrome’.
The cumulative number of streams from all ILLIT songs has now reached nearly 1.2 billion. ‘Magnetic’ has surpassed 600 million, while ‘Lucky Girl Syndrome’ and ‘Cherish (My Love)’ have both surpassed 100 million.
ILLIT will release their third mini album ‘bomb’ on the 16th of next month. The album will include 5 songs, including the title track ‘Do the Dance’. The video snippet of the title track recently uploaded on the HYBE Labels YouTube channel revealed the melody and radiant images of the 5 members, further raising fans’ expectations.
Ahead of their comeback, ILLIT will hold their first fan concert on June 7 and 8 at the Olympic Hall in Songpa District, Seoul. All tickets for both shows were sold out in just the pre-sale, proving the group’s popularity.
