BTS member Jungkook has opened a new Instagram account. He created the account on July 15 and gained over 6 million followers within a day. As of 10 AM on the 16th, Jungkook’s Instagram account recorded 6.3 million followers. His account ID is ’mnijungkook’, and he explained to fans during a live broadcast that it means ″my name is Jung Kook.″



Jungkook first opened an Instagram account in December 2021, gathering over 50 million followers. However, in 2023, he deleted the account, stating that he ″stopped using it.″ Now, after about two years, Jungkook has reopened his personal account and emphasized that ″it is not hacking,″ resuming communication with his fans. Given the current rate of follower growth, analysts suggest that surpassing 50 million again is just a matter of time.



Last year, BTS began with the eldest member Jin and J-Hope and last month RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook completed their military service and were discharged. The members showcased their strong friendship by attending J-Hope’s solo world tour encore finale concert held at the Goyang Indoor Arena on the team’s debut anniversary on the 13th of last month. BTS plans to embark on a world tour with the release of a new album next year.
